Lose..

Didn't get into the final...

Well, it can be say like nothing to be surprise... since that is my first time dancing ribbon dance... I never use it as a performance or what so ever before... this is the first time and had practice for about one month...

Haha... 'one month' here is not really means 31 days... i only practice it twice a week... that is saturday and sunday... that's all... and everytime not more than 2 hours... :P

ehmmm... for me, the result is not the point... as pastor said today, we are doing it for God, to worship Him, to glorify His name as He given us these ability to make the things out...

I enjoyed the process... as I look back, although it is quiet tired, but I do learnt something... I didn't warm up before my first practice... and that caused my legs pained for 2 days... T.T ... the time when I asked comment from others... the moment when I feel like God is dance with me... and asking those who know ribbon dance to teach me... :) ... I had fun and bitterness during the practices... and here I am... I got the technique and better movements...

And I also have a deeper understanding about the song we use... there is only one verse, 1 chorus, and a bridge... we planned to have one verse, chorus, bridge, and go back chorus... I feel like the 1st verse is the period of getting to know God... 1st chorus is to accept it, acknowledge it... bridge is the time of sharing with others... and when go back to chorus again, it is time for announce!...

And I really hope that there are someone get to know that not only those modern songs or dance is 'hot'... those in church are 'HOT' too... and may their heart open and get to know Jesus Christ more... perhaps there are some new comers touched by the song wrote by 'N'... and for those unbeliever, hopefully they will give us a chance to share gospel with them...

Whodunit?

God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness." - Genesis 1:26


The word whodunit is actually in the dictionary. It means "detective story." The most important whodunit of all time is the question of creation.

Some people wish the Bible said, "In the beginnning, God wasn't needed." To them, it's unacceptable to say, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1:1), or "Let Us make man in Our image" (v. 26).

No need for God, they say, for it all happened naturally. On an earth and in an atmosphere not of anyone's making, forces with a blueprint designed by no one joined together to place the earth perfectly for life to thrive.

What we do with "In the beginning God" is at the center of it all. We must either believe His Word - and everything His Word claims - or we must believe that our meaningless lives resulted from an accidental, mindless chain reaction. What a stark contrast to "Let Us make man in Our image"!

In the beginning. Was it God? Or was it chance? Our answer to this whodunit reveals whether or not we truly worship the awesome God of creation. - Dave Branon

When I first read the word 'whodunit'... I thought it is a words combination... 'who', 'dun' = done, 'it'... means 'who done it?'... :P quiet fun and maybe because of my poor english...

The next thing come out in my mind are all the incidents happened today... ( it is 0052 of 13th Dec, but I just came back.) ...

I accompanied my mum to Papar this morning... when we are on the way back to KK, we saw 2 women standing along the road side... so we picked them up and continue our way back to KK... well, they are going to KK too...

Later on we found that both of them come from Rusia... it is quiet a bad communication as they may not understand my English + they keep speaking their own language... only have a few English words I am able to catch it... (tired for that.)

After that I went to church and I thought my mum will drop them at CP (bcos they want to change their cash to Ringgit)... but, when I finished my reharsal in church, they both still in the car...

Well, we went to massage and dinner and they invited us to the resort they live for the another coming 9 days... They gave me a box of chocolate... I guess is from Rusia... :P

On the way to home, mum's car something wrong... can't get start... pray and pray... and now I am at home... :P ... we met 2 nice men to help us... although they din't really gave any help but at least they tried... just because they are not in this career... :)

'Who done it?'... for me... I will say God done it... without God, I am not able to write my blog now... maybe still at somewhere else... who knows?!...

Really thanks God for everything...

PS. wishing tomorrow's show will be ever the best of my record... everything is for God, hope to show others not only those dance with XXX movements is nice and more prefered... a simple ribbon dance can do big praise as long as I am humble enough in front of God... I will only dance for Him...

Ebenezer

Samuel tool a stone... and called its name Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the Lord has helped us." - 1 Samuel 7:12

In Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the central character is Ebenezer Scrooge. As a boy, I enjoyed watching the old black-and-white version of that movie with Alastair Sim portraying Scrooge. Sim did a phenomenal job presenting the heartless, miserly, self-centered Scrooge. I still look in the television schedule each Christmas to learn when I can watch that particular rendition of Dickens' tale.

Years of watching the travails of Scrooge have spoiled something for me though - the name "Ebenezer." I have associated it with Scrooge, but its original meaning was light-years away from that. In 1 Samuel, following a decisive battle with the Philistines, the Israelites erected a stone as a reminder of the Lord's help in the battle. They named that stone Ebenezer, which means "Stone of Help," to remind people of how God rescued them from their enemies (7:12).

What a contrast! A name that I had come to associate with man's selfishness can actually serve as a reminder of the readily available help of God. As we move through life, may we focus on the faithfulness of the Lord and not the selfishness of man. Let's look to Him as our true Ebenezer - our help in the challenges of life. - Bill Crowder

When a problem occur, not each and everyone of us will turn to God... Most of us love to handle it ourselves... even when they look for help around, they will not look for it from God... but blaiming the God giving them such trouble... It is sad, but it is also a way to show God's glorification...

Someone may have quiet a number of position, and you may feel tired... had you ever ask God for a break?... God is not someone cruel... but with all the love for us... however, God is giving you such job is because He wants to have you there... no matter what is in His plan, just make ourselves as 'nobody' in order to serve the Lord with all we have...

When there is no one borrowing you their shoulder for you to cry on, got it from God...

When there is no one giving you their love for you to spend off, got it from God...

No one is perfect... but we can be the best if we are in God's path...

Absolutely Nobody

Surely I am more stupid than any man, and do not have the understanding of a man. - Proverbs 30:2

He wanted to be a nobody. In 1992, a Seattle man running for the office of Washington State's lieutenant governor legally charged his name to "Absolutely Nobody." As he entered the race, he said he wanted to greet the voters, saying, "Hi, I'm Absolutely Nobody. Vote for me." He later admitted that the purpose of his campaign was to abolish the office of lieutenant governor.

This man used a name as a gimmick, but the Bible has a lot to say those of us who present ourselvesto others as a nobody. The right kind of humility is healthy. The songwriters of Israel knew how important it is to see our foolishness apart from God (Ps. 73:22; Prov. 30:2). Jesus Himself showed us that without God we won't accomplish anything of lasting value (John 5:30; 15:5).

But we read a warning in the story of Moses. There's a downside to insisting that we are "nobody" if it is to avoid doing what God commands (Ex. 4:1-7). Our motives make us into somebody who resists the loving purposes of God.

We may treat ourselves and others as having no worth. But remember, God doesn't make nobodies. Like Moses, if we surrender to God, we can do anything God wants us to do - in His strength. - Mart De Haan

Lord, take my life and make it wholly Thine;

Without Christ we can do nothing. With Him we can do everything He wants us to do.

I thought I am someone quiet independent... I can do a lot of stuff without any help... but now, I am just being remind once again, I am not doing things individually... You are always there be with me...

I do know that You prefer those who present themselves as 'nobody'... I am still learning about it... it is something seems to be easy, but quiet hard to make it... as I need to find a point to balance between God's will and mine...

Get in Your way is the right way... but, I am not sure am I in it... or I am somewhere else...

Come Holy Spirit... fall on me now...

I need Your anointing... come in Your power...

I love you Holy Spirit... You're captivating my soul...

And everyday... I grow to love You more...

I am reaching for Your heart... You hold my life in Your hand...

During an all-night festival in Paris, five young people, apparently drunk, broke into the Orsay Museum and left a 4-inch gash in a priceless painting by Claude Monet. Culture Minister Christine Albanel said the paiting could be restored, but she was deeply disturbed at the damage done by "a purely criminal act."

One news headline read: "Monet Masterpiece Marred." To mar is to injured or damage; to spoil, disfigure, or impair. It's an apt description of sin's effect on us. We know well the results of our own choices made in ignorance or defiance of God.

As we approach Christmas, it's good to remember why Jesus was born. The Son of God did not come to establish a nostalgic, family-oriented, commercially successful holiday. The angel told Joseph: "[Mary] will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21).

Christmas began with a present from God to His sin-damaged world: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).

The masterpiece of God's human creation, marred by turning away from Him, can be restored when we gave our hearts to Christ. - David C. McCasland

I loved to recieve present... that's why I would like to have a brithday party or whatever event that can makes me get a present... but I never knew that God had gave me the most precious present since 2000 years ago...

No matter what, it couldn't be compare with God's gift - the salvation - eternal life... No one can make it except Father Lord...

Sometimes I will think of... we sinners become a Christian is because of Jesus Christ had die for our sins that we should carry it ourselves or because we want to have eternal life?, want to enter heaven after death?...

I was giving myself a question without answer... yet I still think that it is important to identify my motif to become a Christian... I don't want just going to church every Sunday and just because of it is an order... I wish I could worship my God with all my heart, both soul and physically...

Later on I had ignore this question that without answer... I had think back, and I found that, no matter what kind of motif I had, I will worship my Lord...

But now, I clearly know that Jesus Christ is the gift gave by God... we should be happy with it as the He said He is knocking the door, who will come to reply Him?... Everyone will recieve this gift as it is prepared for each and everyone of us... therefore we should be absolutely happy, enjoy the gift given from heaven...

I don't know about other, but I will not really find out why other is giving me a present... but, there must be a reason... well, I think is because those people think I should recieve it, so they gave me... is like something that I am worth for it...

Same thing... we human being is the best creation of God, He loves us as He gave us everything we need even His own and only Son... just because He want all of us be safe when the day of judgement come... just because, for Him, we are precious, we are worth for it...

Lessons Of The Coke Bottle

Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. - Romans 5:20

Pastor Louie was preaching on the pervasiveness of sin. "It's everywhere!" he stated emphatically. He told about waiting for a traffic light when he saw the man in the car in front of him finished his Coke, open the door, set the glass bottle on the street, and drive away.

"That was wrong!" Louie said. "It was a selfish sin! He could have caused someone to have a flat tire or even an accident." We don't typically think of littering as sin, but it is clear evidence of our inherent selfishness.

Later, as Louie was greeting people by the door, a Bible professor at a local Christian university said quietly as he walked by, "Sin puts the bottle on the street, but grace picks it up."

Now, many years later, Louie has not forgotten the lesson of that scriptural principle. It comes right out of Romans 5, one of the most uplifting texts in the Bible describing the grace of Gos. Adam's transgression brought sin into the world (v.12), and its consequences spread to all people. But God responded with grace, offering forgiveness through His Son to all who choose to believe. The human race sinned, and God answered with abounding grace (v.20).

Confession of sin is the soil in which forgiveness flourishes

It just like what I had right now... 2 fake Christian... ( in my opinion they are fake Christian)... come into my life... and when I get to know Jesus Christ, I think that is what it means... "Where there is sin, there are grace."....

God makes me learn to forgive, and maybe try to forget... Although I just keep ignore there present... but I do know they are there... and they care for me... well, I just don't know how to face them... so I choose to be a turlte... get in my own world as I don't know anything...

I am doing this due to I do know that it is God in control of everything... He have His own reason to allow it happen... so I can't comment on it... secondly... I am a sinner too... if it is not Jesus Christ, I will continue my sinner's life as I don't know the truth... so, I have no right to comment on other's business... thirdly, and also the most important one... every Sunday we will greet each other as we all had be good with Christ... so I think I should be good with "them" too...

But I still don't know how to be face to face with "them"... HEADACHE!!!... I have all the reasons... yet I still don't have any correction of my attitude toward "them"...

Here Comes The Boss!

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9

A number of computer games come with a special feature called the "Boss Key." If you're playing a game when you're supposed to be working, and someone (like the boss) walks into your office, you quickly strike the Boss Key. Your computer screen changes immediately, hiding what you've been doing.

Trying to hide from others when we've done something wrong comes naturally. We may feel guilty, but our desire to avoid admitting our responsibility is often stronger than our guilty.

Achan tried to hide his sin. He had stolen silver and gold and hidden it in his tent (Josh. 7:20-21). But when the Israelities were defeated in battle, the Lord told their leader Joshua that the loss was due to sin in the camp (w. 11-12). The Lord identified Achan as the one who had sinned. And even though Achan confessed, he and his family were executed (v.25).

We may not understand why God dealt so harshly with Achan's sin, but we do know He was instructingHis people in His holiness and their need for obedience to His commands (Ex. 20:17).

I kept asking for a reason of something... and I got it clearly few days ago... it is because of sin...

I just don't understand how could such thing happen on me... but, I know Lord is in control of everything, I believe He knows my bitterness... since Lord allow it to happen, I will just ignore it as I don't know how to face it... however, I will ask God to stop it... I really do not feeling good with it...

When you have something that you think it is more important than God, you have sin... I do know that nothing is important for me now... well, maybe there are, but it is because of God, so it is important...

No matter what, I wish to hand in a good result when The Day has come... and that's all I live for...
