The Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. - 1 Samuel 16:7
No one watching Britain's Got Talent (a popular televised talent show) expected much when mobile phone salesman Paul Potts took the stage. The judges looked skeptically at one another when the nervous, unassuming, ordinary-looking chap announced he would sing opera - until Potts opened his mouth.
He began to sing Puccini's "Nessun Dorma" - and it was magical! the crowd roared and stood in amazement while the judges sat stunned in tearful silence. It was one of the greatest surprises any such television program has ever had, in large part because it came wrapped in such an ordinary package.
In the Old Testament, the rescuer of Israel arrived at the battlefield in most unlikely from - a young shepherd boy (1 Sam. 17). King Saul and his entire army were surprised when David defeated Goliath and won the day. They needed to learn the way that God looks at people. He said to the prophet Samuel, "The Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart"(16:7).
If we judge others only by their appearance, we might miss the wonderful surprise of what's in their heart. - Bill Crowder

O Lord, we are so quick to judge,
Though much is veiled from sight;
Lord, may we see how just You are
To guide us in what's right. - D. De Haan

... It's what's in the heart that counts. ...

I read this sentence before... and I was quiet happy by the time... Because I know Father Lord will not do as what the man did in this world - judge others by outward appearance... Although I am one of them... But the feeling being judge in such way really doesn't ease people...
My leader should be one of the person that I thought nothing i will get from him at first... :P I met him together with another guy... That guy looks better than him, taller than him... funnier than him... and so on... but now, he is my leader... and he do all the best he could to makes me feel better... and also really caring for me... I do not know what about the other leaders... but he is the one I wanted... :P
He knows alot of bible knowledge... maybe because of he is born in a Christian family... go to church since young... Whatever my questions about some of the verse in any book... he is able to give me a clear explaination... :P I do like it... He is not kind of person like very good in everything such as academy performance... but his faith on God is the thing that I should learn from him... I think he is the one being chosen... and being useful for God...
Another one is also my friend in church... she looks normal... shorter than me... her outward appearance can be says that 0 mark is given... However, she do have a faithful heart... she is really willing to serve and be use by God... Father Lord gives her a beautiful voice so that she could sing to worship Him...
There are some more other examples that God has chosen those poor, weak, bad-looking's person to do His business... As what he says, He wants to make the wise and rich man feel shame as He use those who have nothing...
