Always With You

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go. – Genesis 28:15

The highway that winds around the southern shore of Lake Michigan can be treacherous in the winter. One weekend as we were driving back to Grand Rapids form Chicago, a buildup of snow and ice slowed traffic, caused numerous accidents, and almost doubled our drive time. We were relieved as we eased off the expressway onto our final road. It was then that my husband said out loud, “Thanks, Lord. I think I can take it from here.”

Just as he finished saying the words, our car spun around 180 degrees. As we came to a stop, hearts pounding, we could just imagine God saying: “Are you sure?”

Why do we sometimes try to go it alone in life when at every moment we have access to God? He said: “I am with you and will keep you wherever you go” (Gen. 28:15). And He assures us: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5).

Scottish mathematician, theologian, and preacher Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847) wrote: “When I walk by the wayside, He is along with me. When I enter into company, amid all my forgetfulness of Him, He never forgets me… Go where I will, He tends me, and watches me, and cares for me.”

What a comfort to know tat God is always with us – we don’t need to go through life alone! – Cindy Hess Kasper

As I travel down life’s pathway,
Jesus keeps me day by day;
And although the road is winding,
Yet, with Him I need not stray. – Bradshaw

God’s presence brings great comfort.

Psalm 25:4-10

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love for they are from of old.

Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.

Sometimes it is kinda scary for someone is following you without your acknowledge or permission... no matter where you are, what you do, when you go... all these couldn't run away from Him...

Although thats the case, but, however, He is the ONE who are able to save us from trouble and harm...

There is a story...

A man was walking on the beach... with the company of God... after sometimes, he look back... and wonder why there are some place or part which only have one set of footsprint...

"You said you will be with me all the time... but why when it is my hardest time you left me alone to walk through?" said the man...

"Dear, you are not alone... those single set of footprints is your hardest period... but thats not you footprints but mine... I holded you in my arms and walked through them with you... you are safe in me..." answered God...

See... God never leave us... another story...

A pair of lover... the girl loves to lay on boy's shoulder when he is driving... after they get married, arguements occur...

One day, they saw another pair of lover... being so close with each other... the girl which is now a lady, said, "We used to be that too... what happened? why are we no longer the same?"... the boy which also become a man, answer: "dear, we seems to be changed... but, the one who change never be me..."...

Get it? God is like the boy... He is there... never leave... but we are the one who leaves...

Never ever think that you are able to handle everything... God is incharge of everything... A great care had been given to us... but many of us push them away... is that God's fault? and when we face problem and blaim Him... is it fair to Him?
